Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a refund if the course doesn't work for us?

Yes. Reach out for a refund if our courses are not a good fit. We recommend trying out some sample lessons from the individual course sales page(s) before making a purchase.

Do the lessons come with materials?

The notes come in a PDF file that you can print out for your student. Near the front of the file you'll find a supply list for the course. Most of the activities use items that are easy to find.

Is this a video-only program?

Each course includes video lessons plus written follow-along notes, so your student has something to reference and review between sessions. The poll questions from the end of each lesson can be printed.

How long does each course take?

At three lessons per week, each course takes one semester (roughly 14–16 weeks). Families who want to move faster or slower can adjust as there's no schedule to keep.

Does the order of courses really not matter?

Each course is independent of the other courses, so they can be taken in any order. We consider Physics 1 to be the most challenging, so it could be beneficial to delay the course until the student has a bit more mathematical maturity.
